A Thai contestant won Global IT Leader Award in Global IT Challenge for Youth with Disabilities 2022

On 16 November 2022, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Minister of the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul attended the Award Ceremony of the Global IT Challenge for Youth with Disabilities (GITC), co-organized by Ministry of Health and Welfare of ROK, LG Electronics and GITC Organizing Committee at Grand Bloom Hall, Glad Hotel in Seoul. This event has been hosted by different countries since 2011 with the objective to reduce digital divide and realize the rights of youth with disabilities to ICT. There were around 1,800 youth with disabilities from 16 countries, including youths from Thailand taking part in this competition. It was great that Ms. Varinporn Thongjamnong, a Thai contestant won Global IT Leader Award, the most prestigious award of this year. Thai contestants also won Best Award of eTool (Excel), Best Award of eLifeMap Challenge as well as Best Award of eTool (PPT).
