The Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul, organizes a merit-making ceremony to pay tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, on the occasion of the fifteenth day of Her Majesty’s passing, and a condolence book signing ceremony On 7 November 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul, organized a merit-making ceremony dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, on the occasion of the fifteenth day of Her Majesty’s passing, and a ceremony to pay tribute and a condolence book signing ceremony. The ceremonies were presided over by H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Thai Ambassador to the ROK. Heads and officials of Team Thailand in Seoul, their spouses, and the Thai community participated in this event at the Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul.

On 10 November 2025, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador to the ROK, called on H.E. Chung Dong Young, Minister of Unification of the ROK. The Ambassador discussed possible avenues for cooperation between Thailand-ROK and ASEAN-ROK in promoting peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and reiterated Thailand's support for President Lee's E.N.D. Initiative. The Ambassador and the Minister also took the opportunity to discuss ways to strengthen the close cooperation and longstanding relations between both countries.

On 6 November 2025, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, held discussions with leaders of the Thai community in various cities and provinces on the establishment of the Thai Cultural Council in the ROK. The objectives of this initiative are to: 1. Preserve and promote Thai culture in the ROK, particularly among the youth and Thais born and raised in Korea; 2. Promote Thai customs, traditions, and culture within the ROK 3. Collaborate with the Royal Thai Embassy, Thai-Korean government agencies, and private sectors from Thailand, ROK, and other countries in promoting and exchanging Thai culture in the ROK.

On 19 October 2025, Mr. Chawadol Nipathannont, Minister/Deputy Chief of Mission, presided over as Honorary Head of the Unity Kathina Ceremony at Buddharangsee Seoul Temple, Gyeonggi Province. A large number of Thai and South Korean Buddhists participated in the event this year.

On 26 October 2025, Mr. Chawadol Nipathannont, Minister/Deputy Chief of Mission, presided over as Honorary Chair of the Kathina Ceremony and the merit-making ceremony on the occasion of remembrance of the Sacrifice of Thai soldiers who dedicated themselves during the Korean War at Bhavana Gyeongju Temple. The event was also attended by Mr. Krist Mekkriengkrai, Head of the Consular Section.
