A Volunteer Activity to commemorate the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great (King Rama IX), National Day, Father’s Day, and World Soil Day, December 5, 2025 by Providing Essential Items and Services for the Seniors in Seoul On 26 December 2025, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, led officials and staff from the Royal Thai Embassy, Team Thailand agencies, and their families as well as the Thai community in the ROK, to organize a volunteer activity to commemorate the auspicious occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great (King Rama IX), National Day, Father’s Day, and World Soil Day, December 5, 2025 at Yongsan Senior Welfare Center, a food distribution center for around 350 elderly people in Seoul, by together (1) donating essential items such as tissue paper, drinking water, snacks, and dried food for the elderly people and (2) servings food to the elderly people.

On 20–21 December 2025, Mr. Chawadol Nipathannont, Minister/Deputy Chief of Mission, led consular officials to provide consular services and legal briefings for the Thai community in the ROK at the Lotte Hotel Busan.

On 15 December 2025, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, held a meeting with Mr. Young Lee, President of the Namyangju City Migrant Welfare Center, to follow up on progress regarding compensation, visa matters, and assistance measures for Thai nationals who were injured as a result of the accidental release of munitions by a South Korean fighter aircraft during a military training exercise on 6 March 2025.

On 13 December 2025, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, presided over a merit-making and commemoration on the occasion of remembrance of the Sacrifice of Thai soldiers during the Korean War at Buddharangsee Temple, Gyeonggi Province. Ms. Sherilyn Eun, a representative of the Thai community in the ROK, organized the ceremony.
