The Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul, would like to inform all Thai nationals in the Republic of Korea that on 16 June 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kingdom of Thailand, has launched the Thai Consular application: a comprehensive one-stop platform for consular services. This application is developed to assist Thai nationals both in Thailand and abroad, ensuring access to essential consular information and services anywhere, anytime, 24/7.
Key Features of the Thai Consular Application:
- Emergency SOS Button: Instantly signal for help to the nearest embassy in cases such as accidents, assault;
- Disaster Alerts and Guidance: Receive notifications about natural disasters along with basic safety instructions;
- Direct Embassy Hotline: Contact the embassy in your country of residence directly through the app’s hotline feature;
- Internet-Based Consular Calls: Make calls to the Department of Consular Affairs over the internet without incurring international call charges;
- Passport Expiry Reminders: Get notified six months in advance of your passport’s expiration date;
- Overseas Thai Registration: Register as a Thai national abroad to facilitate assistance in emergency situations;

The Embassy encourages Thai nationals in the ROK to install the Thai Consular Application by downloading on both the Google Play and the App Store.
