The Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul proudly present Seoul Thai Festival Online 2021. The Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul, together with the ASEAN-Korea Centre, invites all Thai and Korean friends to watch our video streaming from 25 July – 25 August 2021 at https://youtu.be/Bk-J_CKUBJ4 (Thai with Korean subtitles).

The Thai Festival is an annual event organised by the Embassy since 2015 to create awareness and promote friendly relationship between Thailand and the Republic of Korea, especially people to people relations, as well as to promote tourism in Thailand and Thai products, such as, Thai Food and other services. In early 2019, the event took place at Cheonggye Plaza with more than 45,000 participants. 

Since the COVID-19 outbreak has still not subsided this year, people are tending to practice social distancing by staying or working at home and relying more on social media and digital platform for social and cultural interaction. As the result, the Embassy decided to organize the 6^th Seoul Thai Festival as a Virtual Online.

When thinking about the virtual events online, one might probably think of boring online seminars. You will be pleased to know that Seoul Thai Festival Online 2021 will be a different kind of entertaining events.

What makes this virtual event special or different? Firstly, the theme for Seoul Thai Festival 2021 is “Imagine Thailand”. So this year Festival is based on the concept of individual imagination and personal impression about Thailand. To achieve that, the Embassy invites five well-known Thai animation characters to represent the imaginative journey to Thailand into 4 episodes as follows;
