On 11 April 2021, H.E. Ms. Rommanee Kananurak, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Korea presided over an online Meeting of Thai Labour Volunteers in ROK, organized by Thai Labour Office in Seoul, to provide updated information on a system of queue reservation within a period of 6 months or 1 year for making electronic passports, and the registration for Certificate of Entry to Thailand for Thai people from April 2021 onwards whereby the quarantine period has been reduced from 14 days to not less than 10 days. In addition, travellers with vaccine certificate from ROK may be eligible for no less than 7- day quarantine. The said condition will only apply to those who have been vaccinated in complete doses against COVID-19 with certain types of vaccines approved by World Health Organization (WHO) or Ministry of Public Health of Thailand no less than 14 days before the travelling date.
