1. 중국과 카자흐스탄 여권 소지자 (Chinese and Kazakhstani passport holders)

 

태국 왕립 정부, 2023년 9월 25일부터 2024년 2월 29일까지 중국과 카자흐스탄 관광객 대상 30일 관광비자 면제 제도로 관광 활성화

 

          태국 외교부는 정부 정책에 따라 2023년 9월 25일부터 2024년 2월 29일까지 중국과 카자흐스탄 여권 소지자(여행 서류 소지자)가 태국에 입국하여 30일을 초과하지 않는 기간을 체류할 수 있는 한시 관광비자 면제 제도를 제안했습니다. 이 계획은 중국 및 카자흐스탄과의 관광 및 유대관계를 촉진하고 국가관계를 강화하는 것을 목표로 하며, 2023년 9월 13일 내각에서 제도를 승인했습니다.

 

          위와 같은 정책은 2023년 9월 하순부터 관광철을 맞아 태국을 방문하는 중국과 카자흐스탄 관광객들의 편의를 도모하여 무비자 제도로 (비자 면제로 수수료 미적용) 태국에 입국할 수 있도록 하는 것으로, 정부의 정책에 따라 경제의 핵심 동력인 태국의 관광산업을 활성화하는 역할을 합니다.

The Royal Thai Government Promotes Tourism with a 30-day Tourist Visa Exemption Scheme for Chinese and Kazakhstani Tourists Starting from 25 September 2023 to 29 February 2024

 

          In accordance with the government’s policy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has proposed a tourist visa exemption scheme for Chinese and Kazakhstani passport holders (or travel document holders) to enter and stay within the Kingdom of Thailand for a period not exceeding 30 days, from 25 September 2023 to 29 February 2024, on a temporary basis. This initiative aims to promote tourism and people-to-people connectivity, as well as to enhance bilateral relations with the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Cabinet approved this measure on 13 September 2023.

 

          The aforementioned measure aims to facilitate the convenience of Chinese and Kazakhstani tourists traveling to Thailand during the tourist season starting from late September 2023, allowing them to enter Thailand without visa (visa exemption with no fee). It also serves to promote Thailand's tourism industry, which is a key driver in stimulating the economy, in accordance with the government's policy.

 

 

 

 

2. 러시아 여권 소지자 (Russian passport holders)

The Royal Thai Government Promotes Tourism with a 90-day Tourist Visa Exemption Scheme for Russian Tourists Starting from 1 November 2023 to 30 April 2024

 

          On 16 October 2023, the Royal Thai Government has approved a unilateral and temporary tourist visa exemption scheme for holders of Russian passports or travel documents, entering the Kingdom of Thailand from 1 November 2023 to 30 April 2024, to be able to stay in Thailand for a period not exceeding 90 days. This temporary arrangement aims to facilitate Russian tourists travelling to Thailand and to enhance people-to-people ties between Thailand and Russia.

3. 인도와 대만 여권 소지자 (Taiwanese and Indian passport holders)

 

태국 왕립 정부, 2023년 11월 10일부터 2024년 5월 10일까지 인도와 대만 관광객 대상 30일 관광비자 면제 제도 승인

 

    태국 왕립 정부는 인도와 대만 여권 소지자(여행 서류 소지자)가 태국에 입국하여 30일을 초과하지 않는 기간을 체류할 수 있는 한시 관광비자 면제 제도를 2023년 10월 31일에 승인했습니다. 이 제도는 2023년 11월 10일부터 2024년 5월 10일까지 시행됩니다.

 

    이번 임시 조치는 2023년 11월부터 성수기에 태국을 여행하는 인도와 대만 관광객을 유치하기 위한 정부의 관광 활성화 정책에 따른 것으로 2023년에는 태국을 방문하는 인도와 대만 관광객이 각각 150만 명과 70만 명에 이를 것으로 예상됩니다.

Royal Thai Government Grants Visa Exemption for Tourists from India and Taiwan from 10 November 2023 to 10 May 2024

 

          On 31 October 2023, the Cabinet of Thailand approved the visa exemption scheme for holders of ordinary passports (or travel document holders) of India and Taiwan to enter and stay within the Kingdom of Thailand for a period not exceeding 30 days. The scheme will be effective from 10 November 2023 to 10 May 2024.

 

          The interim measure is in accordance with the government’s policy to boost tourism, aiming to facilitate tourists from India and Taiwan traveling to Thailand during the high season from November 2023. It is expected that in 2023, the numbers of tourists from India and Taiwan in Thailand will reach 1,500,000 and 700,000 respectively.
