On 29 August 2023, Ambassador Witchu Vejjajiva and officials from the Royal Thai Embassy welcomed a delegation led by Mr. Worawit Kangsasitiam, President of the Constitutional Court of Thailand. The delegation, composed of 46 public and private sector executives enrolled in the Constitutional Court’s Rule of Law for Democracy training programme, received a briefing from the Embassy as part of a study visit to the ROK. Delegation members were also engaged in an exchange of views and ideas with the Embassy team on a wide range of issues, including current developments in the bilateral relations and cooperation between Thailand and the ROK, strategic priorities of the ROK’s foreign policy, best practices within the ROK on economic development and soft power, the rule of law, and situations concerning Thai workers in the ROK.
