On 21 July 2023, H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, welcomed Professor Sirirurg Songsivilai, Permanent Secretary (equivalent to Vice Minister-level) of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), along with the Board Committee of the National Science Museum of Thailand (NSM), during their visit to the ROK from 19-23 July to discuss cooperation with the ROK’s museums. The delegation updated the Ambassador on ongoing cooperation projects between NSM and ROK museums and museum-related agencies. On this occasion, the Ambassador also briefed and exchanged views with the delegation on the ROK’s strengths in the academic sector and in its development of science, technology, and innovation, that clearly answer the well-defined economic development goals, as well as the ROK’s best practices in the areas which Thailand could consider exploring as a model of success.
