Entry Procedures for Non-Thai Nationals
STEP 1: Check whether the applicant has already acquired a valid visa.
1) If the eligible applicant does not have a valid visa, please proceed to step 2.
2) If the eligible applicant has a valid visa, please proceed to step 4.
STEP 2: Applicant is required to apply for a visa online at
www.thaievisa.go.th through the following steps:
1) Create account;
2) Check eligibility and purpose of visit;
3) Fill in an online application form;
4) Add travel information;
5) Upload required supporting documents;
6) Review application; and
7) Pay for visa fee (if any).
STEP 3:
After the e-visa application has been approved, a confirmation e-mail will be automatically sent to applicants. Please print out a copy of the e-visa confirmation email to present to airlines and Thai immigration officials.
STEP 4:
As from 1 November 2021 onwards, applicant is required to register for Thailand’s new electronic entry document (Thailand Pass QR Code) through
https://tp.consular.go.th
Step 5: Applicant is required to present the following documents at the port of the embarkation and upon entry into Thailand:
5.1 A passport with a valid visa or a copy of the e-visa confirmation e-mail or a valid re-entry permit;
5.2 A Thailand Pass QR Code;
5.3 A health insurance policy covering treatment and medical expenses related to COVID-19 with a minimum coverage
of USD 50,000.- (or equivalent in other currencies). The insurance must cover the entire duration of stay in Thailand. Travelers are advised to purchase the health
5.4 A medical certificate with RT-PCR laboratory result indicating that COVID-19 is not detected, issued no more than 72 hours before departure time;
5.5 An original vaccine certificate or a copy of online vaccine certificate;
5.6 A copy of confirmed hotel reservation at SHA+ or AQ hotel; and
5.7 A receipt of pre-paid COVID-19 RT-PCR test(s) according to the applicant’s travel scheme.
