On 27 October 2024, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Minister/Deputy Chief of Mission presided over as Honorary Head of the Unity Kathina Ceremony at Buddharangsee Temple, Gyeonggi Province. A large number of Thai and South Korean Buddhists participated in the event this year.

Minister Bancha together with all Buddhists made merit, offered foods to the monks, joined in Kathin Robe Procession and offered Kathin robes to the monks.

Mrs. Sirirat Srichart, Thai Labour Attaché also participated in this event and set up a Social Security Fund promotion booth, inviting Thai nationals to apply for membership.
