On 14 June 2023, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission on behalf of the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul, attended a session for ASEAN and the Republic of Korea of the 4th World Cultural Industry Forum (WCIF) 2023 co-organized by WCIF and ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC). This year, WCIF was focused on building a strong ASEAN-the ROK relationship in the music and entertainment industry and creating synergy between K-wave and ASEAN-wave in the era of the creator economy.

 

On this occasion, Minister Bancha congratulated Nichkhun, a Thai member of 2PM, a boy band group in the ROK, who won WCIF award in 2023 for his outstanding role in promoting a strong ASEAN-ROK relations through music for years.
