On 10 January 2025, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, and Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul had a discussion with Mr. Byoung Hwa Lim, General Director of Regional Industry Promotion Division of Daejeon Technopark to promote cooperation between ecosystems of Thailand-ROK startups.

The Technopark helps identify and support technology-based startups, and helps them grow into medium-sized companies.

The Technopark also helps facilitate commercialization of research and development.

Ambassador Tanee invited private companies in Daejoen Technopark to participate in activities in which the Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul will organize to raise awareness of Korean private sector on investment opportunities in Thailand and privileges as follows: (1) Thailand-ROK Business Week in Seoul during the second half of April 2025, focusing on FDI, investment/connectivity on finance and banking, and Logistics, including industrial estates, real estates and condominiums and (2) a Korean investment mission to Thailand in December 2025.

Daejoen Technopark is ready to invite companies in logistics sector with high potential to participate in Thailand investment promotion activities of the Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul.
