On 21 June 2023, Mr. Ahn Joong-ong, Director-General of the Economic Bureau of Daegu City hosted a welcome luncheon for Ambassador Witchu Vejjajiva. CEOs and executives of 7 leading Daegu companies also participated in the luncheon. The Ambassador held discussions with each company to get to know their products and strengths, which covered a range of businesses such as medical devices, smart city systems, etc. On this occasion, the Ambassador expressed readiness to help connect each company with potential Thai partners if needed, as well as to explore ways for them to enter the Thai market in the future.
