On 28 June 2023, Ambassador Witchu Vejjajiva welcomed Ambassador Chung Hae-moon, former Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Thailand, and a select group of students from various universities in the Republic of Korea under the Korean Ministry of Education’s Student Aid Foundation mentorship programme. As part of the visit, the Ambassador provided an overview of the relations between Thailand and the Republic of Korea, and engaged in a lively discussion and Q&A session on the students’ ideas on how to further cooperation in a wide range of areas, including economic cooperation, climate change, cultural exchanges, and education.
