On 27 July 2023, Ambassador Witchu Vejjajiva met with Ms. Rhie Sue Nah, Deputy Director of the ASEAN Culture House (ACH) in Busan, as well as representatives from various departments, to discuss further cooperation between Thailand and the ACH. On this occasion, the Ambassador and the Deputy Director exchanged views on how to enhance collaboration activities in promoting Thai culture and arts in the Republic of Korea, especially Thai language learning programmes for interested Korean public. The Ambassador was also introduced to various exhibitions currently on display in the ACH, including a permanent collection of Thai or other ASEAN countries’ cultural items and artefacts, a short animation presenting Thailand’s Ramakien epic, and other exhibitions that utilise digital tools and innovation to support learning on Thailand and ASEAN countries.
