On 30 April 2024, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador-designate of Thailand to the ROK, held a meeting with Mr. Ahn Byung Kon, Director-General, Global Business Office, Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH). Ahn updated the Ambassador-designate on the progress of LH’s project to establish a Korean industrial estate in Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), after having visited Thailand in March 2024 to survey potential sites and meet with relevant Thai agencies. The Ambassdor-designate expressed his readiness to extend full support in driving the project forward, in consideration of its immense potential in attracting more Korean companies and their subsequent supply chains to Thailand.
