On 14 May 2024, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador-designate of Thailand to the ROK, held discussions with Dr. Cho Wook-dong, Senior Vice President (Asia Pacific Division) of LS ELECTRIC, to explore further business opportunities for LS ELECTRIC in Thailand. Dr. Cho expressed the company’s interest in entering the Thai market in the areas of power distribution, energy saving systems, and automation, building on the company’s already-established railway system business in Thailand which spans over 20 years. On this occasion, the Ambassador-designate expressed readiness to help facilitate and connect LS ELECTRIC with interested Thai partners in order to help further Thailand’s development of renewable energy systems.
