On 17 May 2024, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador-designate of Thailand to the ROK, visited the UN Memorial Cemetery Korea (UNMCK) to pay his respects and commemorate the courage and sacrifice of Thai and United Nations Command (UNC) forces during the Korean War.

Ambassador Tanee visited the Thai Memorial and the Thai-ROK Friendship Bridge, located within the UNMCK, and also visited the UN Memorial Peace Hall, which is managed by the ROK's Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs.
