On 26 August 2022, H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, had a meeting with Mr. Seokho Daniel Yoon, CEO, and Ms. Seoyoung Han, Deputy Secretary General, of Debate Korea, which is a non-profit organization founded in 2013 to foster debate education and invigorate the debate community in Korea through networks of cooperation with academic institutes and relevant agencies both in Korea and abroad. On this occasion, Ambassador was briefed on Debate Korea’s past activities, its cooperation with some ASEAN countries, and its future plans, including organizing a Korean language debate by the end of 2022 for international students who are learning the language from around the world. The two sides also exchanged views on possible cooperation between the Embassy and Debate Korea
