On 14 June 2024, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, hosted a dinner at his Residence in honor of Professor Yingyos Avihinsanon, MD, President of Thai Transplant Society and his delegation who were invited by Professor Curie Ahn, MD, Secretary-General, Asian Society of Transplantation to give a lecture and exchange expertise with Korean doctors on transplantation in Seoul.
Ambassador supported Thai and Korean Societies of transplantation to cooperate on transplantation. Both sides agreed to seek their authorities concerned to support in organizing academic conferences and research, exchanging doctors and promoting transfer of knowledge on donation of organs and center for transplantation in South East Asia Region by using Thailand as a hub.
