On 12 June 2024, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK was invited by the Korea Medical Tourism Promotion Association (KMTPA) to deliver remarks in MEDICON Networking Event to promote the ROK’s role as a leader in medical and beauty services.
Ambassador highlighted that Thailand is among the top 5 foreign visitors to the ROK for beauty services whilst the healthcare system of Thailand was ranked 6th best globally and recognized as medical hub in the region.
Therefore, both countries have potential for further cooperation in health and medical tourism.
