Ambassador strengthens cooperation with the National Asian Culture Center (ACC) to promote dissemination of Thai arts and culture in the ROK
On 17 May 2024, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, exchanged views with Mr. Kim Sangug, Director General of National Asian Culture Center (ACC) under the ROK’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism at the Embassy on ways to disseminate and raise awareness of Thai arts and culture in the ROK.
DG Kim requested the Embassy’s assistance on providing a Thai contemporary art piece for displaying at the Center and also invited Thai craftsmen to attend a workshop and to exchange experiences on the production of Thai cultural artifacts at “Future of Asian Crafts” exhibition which will be held in 2024 to celebrate the 35th anniversary of ASEAN-ROK relations and the Thailand-ROK Tourism Year (2023-2024).
