On 24 April 2025, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, welcomed Mr. Korrawee Prissananantakul, Chairperson of the Committee on Administration of the House of Representatives and delegation during their study visit to the ROK. Ambassador briefed the delegation on the Embassy’s priorities in strengthening Thailand-ROK relations and exchanged views with the delegation on the means to promote concrete outcomes to the cooperation between both sides.

Mr. Bancha Yuengyongchongcharoen, Minister and DCM, provided additional briefing on the ROK’s system of governance and decentralization of power to local authorities, as well as on the Embassy’s work in providing consular services to Thai nationals in the ROK and in organising overseas elections.

On 22 April 2025, Minister Bancha accompanied the delegation to the National Assembly of the ROK to meet Mr. Shin Jeonghoon, Chair of the Standing Committee on Public Administration and Safety. The two sides further discussed best practices on digital government and on providing government services to citizens in a more effective manner.
