On 25 March 2025, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, met with Professor Jae W. Lee, Vice President for International Affairs of Seoul National University (SNU) to strengthen education cooperation between Thailand and SNU, especially on scholarships for Thai students, promoting student exchanges,

and strengthening cooperation between SNU and Thai higher education institutions.

Ambassador Tanee also met with Thai students from SNU to learn more about daily life in the ROK and to exchange views on the pathways in increasing the number of Thai students enrolled in higher education programmes in the ROK.
