On 22 June 2015, the Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul supported the Thai community in the ROK to organize the 1st Royal Thai Embassy, ​​Seoul Cup football tournament at Jincheon Complex Sports Town, Jincheon City, Chungcheongbuk Province. This year, 12 football teams from the Thai community in the ROK participated in the tournament.

Ambassador Tanee opened the football tournament, which is in line with the Embassy’s objective in strengthening the Thai community in the ROK. He also discussed with Mr. Song Ki-Sup, Mayor of Jincheon City, who was invited to present in the competition as a guest of honor, on ways to promote cooperation between Thailand and Jincheon City.

Ambassador Tanee led Team Thailand football team to compete in a friendly football match against the Thai senior labor team, which was filled with joy, smiles, and friendship. Following by the final match, it turned out that the Dutshie F.C. team was able to defeat the All Star Chartipan F.C. team and successfully won the 1st Royal Thai Embassy, ​​Seoul Cup trophy.
