On 14 June 2024, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, visited NextRise 2024 at COEX Seoul - the largest startup fair in Asia with 500 participants, including 100 foreign startups - to encourage 10 Thai startups with worldclass talent participating in this fair. The participation of Thai startups was supported by Department of International Trade Promotion and Chulalongkorn University. Ambassador visited Thai startup Baiya Phytopharm’s pitching session, followed by MoU signing ceremony between Thai startup Quest Edtech and Korean partner, and also visited each individual Thai startup booth. The technologies and innovation developed by Thai startups are aligned with the government's IGNITE THAILAND Vision, such as Tourism Hub, Medical & Wellness Hub, Digital Economy Hub and Food Hub.
