On August 24 2023, H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK welcomed and exchanged of views with Mrs. Auramon Supthaweethum, Director-General of the Department of Trade Negotiations, and her delegation, about the ROK's economic strengths and priority areas as well as potential cooperation with Thailand. At this meeting, Ms. Chananya Punnarugsa, Director of Thai Trade Center Seoul, and Mr. Kritawit Madhyamankura, Director of the Board of Investment of Thailand (Seoul Office) also joined in and provided the delegation with an overview of trade and investment cooperation between Thailand and the ROK. Between 24-26 August 2023, Director-General Auramon and her delegation are visiting the ROK for a discussion with ROK's responsible agencies on the possibility of establishing an Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) between Thailand and the ROK.
