On 10 February 2026, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, together with Mr. Porntawat Bhengsri, Minister-Counsellor (Industrial); Ms. Kritsana Saeheng, Minister-Counsellor (BOI); and Mrs. Kanticha Laicharenkit, Head of Economic Section, had a meeting with Mr. Yang Ki Il, the CEO of MPS KOREA Co., Ltd., to learn about the company's business focusing on Li-battery packs and systems for forklifts, telecom, UPS, ESS, EV carts, trucks and buses, and to introduce investment opportunities in Thailand. At the end of the meeting, Ambassador visited the factory site, located in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do Province.
