On 25 May 2021 Ms. Rommanee Kananurak, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, along with fellow ASEAN Ambassadors to the ROK visited the LS Electric Smart Factory in North Chungcheong Province, one of the leading smart factories in South Korea. The Factory produces low-voltage circuit breakers and electric switches through fully-automated production lines for tasks ranging from assembling electrical power equipment to testing and packaging. During the visit, ASEAN Ambassadors received a warm welcome from Dr. Ja-Kyun Koo, Chairman and CEO of LS Electric and executives from LS Electric. Both sides engaged in discussions on ways to expand cooperation on the development of smart factories in ASEAN.
