On 6 March 2026, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, together with Mr. Chawadol Nipathannont, Minister, and Mr. Krist Mekkriengkrai, Head of the Consular Section, held a meeting with the President of the Thai Student Association in the ROK and members of its committee to receive updates on the Association’s recent activities and to exchange views on its future directions.
On this occasion, the Thai Student Association presented a report on its recent achievements, particularly the successful official registration of the Association in the ROK on 5 December 2025. The Association also outlined its planned activities for Thai students in the ROK during March - May 2026, including TSAK First Meet for Thai students at the Ambassador’s Residence, a sports day event, and an online session on further study opportunities.
Ambassador Tanee provided recommendations regarding preparations and approaches for organizing the Association’s upcoming activities to ensure their effective implementation. He also reaffirmed the Royal Thai Embassy’s readiness to support the work of the Thai Student Association in strengthening the Thai student community in the ROK.
