On 8 August 2024, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Minister/Deputy Chief of Mission of the Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul, together with Ambassadors and representatives of ASEAN Missions in the ROK attended a Policy Address of H.E. Mr. Enrique A. Manalo, the Philippine Foreign Secretary in relation to ASEAN and Indo-Pacific Region, co-hosted by the Philippine Embassy in the ROK and the Seoul National University Asia Center (SNUAC). The Philippine Foreign Secretary shared his view on the occasion of the 57th Anniversary of ASEAN that ASEAN Centrality remains relevant in regional architecture through ASEAN’s mechanisms such as East Asia Summit and ASEAN Regional Forum.

Minister Bancha also enhanced academic cooperation between Thailand and SNUAC and advised Mr. Beom-Shik Shin, Vice Director of SNUAC to explore ways to promote Pan-Asia Cooperation through existing mechanism of Asia Cooperation Dialogue which both Thailand the ROK are members.
