On 17 July 2024, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Minister/Deputy Chief of Mission, Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul attended the 16th Hana Global Family Award Ceremony, organized by Hana Nanum Foundation at Hana Financial Group Headquarter’s Auditorium. This event was aimed to improve the welfare of multicultural families in the ROK and to increase public awareness in the society on social integration.

Minister Bancha congratulated Ms. Suphaporn Winit, a Thai woman from Kalasin Province, who has resided with her South Korean family in Seoul for 15 years. She has been working as a member of foreign security volunteer group to help improve community safety and multicultural awareness as well as to support married immigrant women in the area to adapt to South Korean society.
