The Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul, organized Sawasdee Seoul Thai Festival 2025: Discover Thailand”on 6–7 September 2025 at Cheonggye Plaza to present the richness and diversity of Thai arts and culture from across the regions, as well as Thai innovation, creativity, and sustainability.

This year’s program featured performances by 12 leading Thai T-Pop artists and groups, namely (1) FOURTH Nattawat, (2) NANON Korapat, (3) INK Waruntorn, (4) ALLY + Jetaime, (5) Pide x New GELBOYS, (6) ATLAS, (7) PERSES, (8) VIIS, (9) FELIZZ, (10) SERIOUS BACON, (11) No One Else, and (12) BENZ Khaokhwan, a K-Pop performance by Queenz Eyes (featuring a Thai member), Thai dance by the Siam Mantra Troupe, Muay Thai demonstration by world-renowned fighter Buakaw Banchamek, and a mixed martial arts performance combining Muay Thai and Taekwondo by WBC Korea. Additional highlights included the dancing Som Tam (papaya salad) competition, Thai singing and dancing contests, the Sawasdee Seoul cultural parade, as well as a demonstration of Nuad Thai (traditional Thai massage) — a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage.

The Festival featured 79 exhibition booths, showcasing innovative and creative products, cultural products of Thailand (CPOT), agricultural goods, DIY handicraft activities, as well as a variety of Thai food, products, and services. The Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul, appreciated the kind support from (1) Thai government agencies: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Interior, the Thailand Creative Culture Agency (THACCA), Pattaya City, and the National Innovation Agency, and (2) South Korean partners including the Seoul Metropolitan Government, Jongno District, Jung District, the Woongjin Foundation, the Korea Foundation, and the ASEAN–Korea Centre as well as the festival’s main sponsors: B.Grimm, the Charoen Pokphand (CP) Group, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Creative Economy Agency (CEA), and Thai Airways.

According to the joint assessment by the Seoul Metropolitan Police and the organizer, the Festival welcomed an estimated total of around 100,000 visitors over the two days.
