On 24 November 2022, Ambassador Witchu Vejjajiva had a courtesy call on the Honorable Yun Hojung, Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea (Democratic Party) from Guri City, Gyeonggi Province. The two sides discussed ways to promote the cooperation and high-level exchanges between the members of the National Assembly of Thailand and of the ROK, in particular, as year 2023 is the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Parliamentary Friendship Group between the two sides and the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and the ROK. The two sides also exchanged views on the ROK’s international affairs which are under the Honorable Yun’s supervision as a member of the Foreign affairs and Unification Committee of the National Assembly of the ROK.
