On 14 September 2022, H.E. Ambassador Witchu Vejjajiva met with Mr. Yang Moon-seok, Chairman of Jeju Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Jeju CCI) to discuss business opportunity between Thailand and Jeju as well as trade and investment incentives provided by Jeju for foreign trading companies and investors. During the meeting, the Ambassador was briefed on Jeju's economic situation, targeted priority sectors of Jeju’s economy, including tourism and biotechnology and exchanged views on possible cooperation between Jeju CCI and relevant Thai agencies such as through the signing of MOUs. In addition, the Ambassador took this opportunity to invite members of Jeju Chamber of Commerce to participate in the economic roadshow that the Embassy plans to host in November 2022 to learn more about the potential of Thai top companies and opportunities for partnership.
