On 25 August 2022, H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK had a meeting with Professors from the Department of Thai, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) consisting of (1) Associate Professor Dr. Park Kyungeun, Head of Department of Thai, (2) Professor Dr. Shin Keun-Hye, and (3) Associate Professor Dr. Kewalin Simuang. At the meeting, the Ambassador was briefed on HUFS’s Thai language education and Thai Studies programs and exchanged views on possible cooperation to promote the Thai language and culture to Korean students, including participation in the upcoming Critical Foreign Language (CFL) Ambassador Forum.
