On 23 November 2022, Ambassador Witchu Vejjajiva had an introductory meeting with the Honorable Kim Young-bae and the Honorable Yoon Youngchan, Members of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea (Democratic Party) from Seongbuk-gu, Seoul and Seongnam City, Gyeonggi Province respectively. The two sides exchanged views on the history and the current situation of domestic politics, the role of the National Assembly and the opposition party in driving the country forward, issues that the two National Assembly members are taking charge of or are personally interested in, such as political reforms and soft power of the ROK, as well as ways to enhance cooperation between Thailand and the ROK.
