On 26 July 2025, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, presented financial support of 1,255,230 won to Mr. Krittichok Rattanakodsakun, the newly elected President of the Thai Student Association in the ROK (TSAK), during the farewell dinner for Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Minister, with an aim to support the operations of the Association’s second executive committee, whose term beginning from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026.

TSAK’s President reiterated the top priority mission to complete official registration with the Seoul Metropolitan Government by the end of 2025. The registration will enable the association to collaborate more effectively with other organizations, thereby creating greater opportunities and facilitating beneficial activities for Thai students in the ROK.

Ambassador Tanee expressed his readiness to support TSAK’s activities, which will strengthen networks and foster closer ties among Thai students, as well as serve as a coordinating body between the Embassy and the Thai student community in the ROK, on taking care of Thai students in the country.
