The Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul welcomes the Republic of Korea’s “Strategy for a Free, Peaceful, and Prosperous Indo-Pacific Region” as announced by H.E. Mr. Park Jin, Minister of Foreign Affairs, on 28 December 2022. The Embassy appreciates that the Strategy which revolves around three Visions (Freedom, Peace, Prosperity) and three Principles of Cooperation (Inclusiveness, Trust, Reciprocity) is seeking to engage even more closely and deeply with ASEAN and ASEAN member countries while supporting ASEAN Centrality and the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific (AOIP) as a basis for their future collaboration. The Embassy stands ready to further discuss with ROK’s relevant authorities on how to put the Strategy’s Core Lines of Effort into action with a view to enhancing mutual benefits to all parties concerned.
