On 29 October 2021 Her Excellency Miss Rommanee Kananurak, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Korea attended the Opening Ceremony of the 4th Public Diplomacy Week, organized by Korea Foundation on 29 – 30 October 2021 at Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Seoul. The event has been held to raise awareness and promote understanding of Public Diplomacy by inviting Embassies and various institutions to share their experiences and achievements on Public Diplomacy under the theme “Our Future though Public Diplomacy”.

 

On this occasion, the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul organises a booth to promote Thai public diplomacy achievements, such as the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy led public diplomacy and development cooperation implemented by Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency (TICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Royal Project Foundation, Thailand. Moreover, the Embassy also presents the cultural projects which showcase Thailand, namely, Thailand Game Day 2021 and Seoul Thai Festival Online 2021, which promotes Thai - Korean people to people relations , Thai food and Thai tourism as well as Thai creative economy.
