On 11 July 2022, H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, along with Mr. Nithiphat Wattanasuwakul, Labour Attaché of the Royal Thai Embassy, met with Mr. Shim Jae-beom, CEO of Samho Development Co., Ltd., which currently hires the largest number of Thai workers among all construction companies in the ROK. Mr. Shim informed that, since 2003 until now, Samho has hired a total of over 3,300 Thai workers due to Thai workers’ strong work ethics and skillfulness. He also assured that the company would continue to do its best to take care of Thai workers, such as setting up suitable accommodation on construction sites, putting up safety signs in Thai on the sites, and organizing activities to create an enjoyable working atmosphere.
