On 22 April 2026, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Korea, hosted a dinner at the Ambassador’s Residence in honour of Mr. Jeong Yang-oh, Executive Vice President of the Brand Marketing Strategy Division of Emart Inc., and delegation.

Ambassador Tanee offered his congratulations to Emart for the success of Mango Universe Promotional Event in March which was jointly organised by the Agricultural Section of the Royal Thai Embassy and Emart to showcase Thai mango varieties at the Emart, Yongsan branch.  In addition, Ambassador also introduced "MuekGroob", mala konjac jelly, and “Coconut Snowball”, ready-to-eat, peeled coconut products, to the Emart delegation and discussed the possibility of selling them at Emart as well as sourcing more products from Thailand.
