On December 18, 2024, H.E. Mr. Park Yongmin, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea (ROK) to the Kingdom of Thailand called on Mr. Piyapak Sricharoen, Director-General of the Department of East Asian Affairs, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ambassador Park updated the Thai side on the latest political developments in the ROK. Director-General Piyapak in turn expressed appreciation for the updates, and, as a close friend of the ROK, conveyed Thailand’s full confidence in the ROK’s resilience to overcome the current political situation, while expressing Thailand’s commitment to strengthen the bilateral Strategic Partnership across a multiple areas which has benefited the people of both countries.
