On 14 May 2025, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK delivered welcoming remarks for H.E. Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of Labour of Thailand during Thailand MOL Overseas Matching in the ROK and attended a meeting with Thai Labour volunteers.

The meeting aimed to learn information on the current situation of labour in the ROK , presented by Dr. Park Kwan Bai, Senior Researcher of the Korea Research Institute for Construction Policy. The organizer invited employers, entrepreneurs and associations related labour employment in the ROK to meet with Thai labour promotion companies from Thailand in order to build networking and exchange information on labour-related issues to promote labour cooperation between the two countries.

Ambassador Tanee also hosted a dinner in honour of the Minister of Labour and his delegation at his residence to exchange views on promotion and protection of Thai Labour, such as additional Korean language learning, health insurance and medical treatment.
