On 27 February 2025, Ambassador Tanee met with Mr. Kim Heon-sung, CEO of the Ulsan Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (Ulsan CCEI) and learnt on Ulsan CCEI’s mission and role in supporting startups. Ambassador Tanee attended a study visit at the center’s facilities to gain a comprehensive understanding on how Ulsan CCEI fosters the growth of startups.
Ambassador Tanee and Mr. Kim Heon-sung exchanged views on potential collaboration between Thailand and the ROK to promote and develop policies that support startups in both countries, as well as enhance Thailand’s startup ecosystem. Ambassador Tanee also extended an invitation to Ulsan CCEI to participate in the IGNITE Thailand-Korea Business Forum on 22-23 April 2025.
