On 27 December 2024, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Chargé d’affaires of the Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul, offered rice, sponsored by Uppoompat Korea FC (Fan Club of Mr. Poompat Iam-samang, Thai actor and model), to monk at Buddharama Temple, Cheonan City, South Chungcheong Province.

The Royal Thai Embassy also offered another amount of rice packages sponsored by the said fan club to the monk at Bhavana Seoul Temple, Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province and Buddharangsee Seoul Temple, Hwaseong City, Gyeonggi Province.

The Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul, would like to express its sincere appreciation to Uppoompat Korea FC for sponsoring the rice offering to the Thai monks, which has shown a goodwill between the youth of the two countries.
