On 21 November 2024, Ms. Saratsanun Unnopporn, the Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, House of Representatives of Thailand, her delegation, and H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, met with H.E. Mr. Park Sung Jae, the Minister of Justice of the ROK.

Both sides discussed ways to strengthen cooperation on labor, immigration matters, Thai tourists who have been denied entry to the ROK after receiving K-ETA, and pathway to sustainable management of Thai illegal immigrants in the ROK. The Ambassador presented a proposal document on cooperation on solving the problems.
