On 30 January 2024, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen,Chargé d’affaires of the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul, together with Mr. Nithiphat Wattanasuwakul,Labour Attaché,had a meeting with Mr. Kim Jong Min, President of the Korean-Thai Chamber of Commerce. During the meeting, both sides discussed and exchanged views on various issues, including the current situation of Thai labour in the Republic of Korea,opportunities for sending more Thai labours to work as seasonal workers in the ROK, the establishment of an official association to provide assistance to Thai workers who are in distress in the ROK, and the establishment of the Thai Business Council of the ROK.
