On 21 February 2024, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Chargé d’affaires of the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul, had a meeting with Colonel Varadon Vorakittidechakorn, Deputy Chief of Staff, Counter Terrorist Operations Center and his delegation. In this meeting, the delegates from the Counter Terrorist Operations Center shared their first-hand experience on the evacuation of Thai nationals from Israel in 2023. In addition, both sides also discuss the emergency and evacuation plan in the Republic of Korea.
