On 18 January 2024, H.E. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand, had a meeting with Mr. Ahn Byung Kon, Director General, Global Business Office, Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH). The two sides appreciated the mutually continuing interest in their ongoing cooperation project. They discussed ways to materialize LH’s plan to establish ROK’s Industrial Park in an Eastern Province of Thailand whereby the Embassy will help LH follow up with concerned Thai agencies for further progress to be made. The Ambassador also shared with DG Ahn the new Thai Government’s policy that prioritizes ROK as one of the top-ten countries with which Thailand is determined to promote closer economic partnership. He assured LH and other South Korean businesses of the full support and facilitation to be given by the Thai Embassy and other offices of Team Thailand in Seoul to their potential and actual investment projects in Thailand.
